Up for sale, here’s a rare to find Fender American Standard Telecaster in Crimson Red. Made in Corona, CA USA in 1995. In Good condition with its original hard molded case.
All original and everything is stock on this instrument. Original and stunning Crimson Red with a 3-ply white (yellowed through the years) pickguard and Maple fretboard are a great looking combo. It comes with its typical Tele single coil pickups with 3-way switch and as usual these years with the TBX tone potentiometer.
Weight is 8.4 Lbs which is average for an American Stratocaster of these years, it feel pretty well balanced.
It has the typical modern “C” Profile with 11/16″” nut width. The neck is perfectly straight (truss rod works perfect as expected) and without any fret issues at all, currently professionally set with low action with a fresh set of D’addario Nickel strings. It really plays incredibly well.
These American Standard Series were for decades what nowadays they’ve been renamed as “American Professional” (I & II), and with minimal changes, they’re all pretty much the same. They’re well known for being super solid and reliable workhorse for pros, getting the traditional Telecaster tone at a reasonable price point.
This one in particular is one of those rare to find because of the color, weight and balance. Cosmetically, It has some honest wear, meaning kettle dings, scratches and some obvious edge wear over the body, and neck. It comes with its original hard molded case that is in Very good Shape and fully functional.
